As many treasures as they have on earth, they will not attain the treasure in Heaven

“How hard it will be for rich people to enter the Kingdom of God!” Mark 10:23

There are people who have set their eyes on the riches of the earth and have forgotten about God. They only talk about their businesses and investments, turning into very materialistic and calculating persons, who find no place for anything that is not money.

These people have shut their hearts to God and believe they have everything. They are used to solving all problems with money; to them, it is the solution to everything. Their concern consists on making money. They forget family, children, home. They want money to make up for that which they cannot give, such as love, time to share, affection, attention and many things that can never be substituted.

The vast majority of them feel alone because they alienate people in fear of others seeking them out of interest, so they have closed their hearts to God, since their money is their god. That is why the Lord said that it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich person to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

The Kingdom of Heaven is a divine atmosphere which manifests on those who walk in justice and truth. It brings us healing, prosperity, joy, love, peace, patience; things that the rich may never get through their possessions. That is why, as many treasures they have on earth, they will not attain the treasure in Heaven, and they will lose their souls because they give high value to the power of the riches.
