God understands us and helps us

But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O Lord, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers. 1 Kings 19:4
Many times we feel frustrated, discouraged, because of the crises and problems of life. When we want things to come out one way, and they do not, we say “Where is the God of Elijah?”, but we do not think that God will ask us “Where are the Elijahs of God?” It is easy to ask for the God of Elijah to show himself.
In Chapter 18 of 1 Kings, we see how the glory of God is manifested on Elijah: He prayed, the fire of Jehovah fell, it consumed the burnt offering and he made it rain. Later on, Ahab’s wife, in view of all this, far from turning to God, ordered that Elijah be killed. And what happened with him? He was afraid and ran away; he felt frustration to the point where he wanted to die. “I don’t know what I live for, I don’t know why I was born, I’d rather die.” How many times have you felt like that, frustrated and discouraged? “I have no strength anymore, here I stay…”
God understands us and helps us. When we are going through the desert, many times we are disappointed in Him; we feel that He does not fulfill our expectations. Or we are disappointed in ourselves; we demand more from us than God does.
God blesses you because He is your Father.   When you acknowledge this and wait silently for Him, you will see that He uses for resurrection what was once for death.
