In the midst of that crisis He has set his perfect plan into motion
Now when neither sun nor stars appeared for many days, and no small tempest beat on us, all hope that we would be saved was finally given up. Acts 27:20
When we are waiting for something we always think the worst, but why not change and think the best? Our negativity makes us see things as they are not, and such things drift away, unwillingly, for what we do is the opposite of what we must do. We are filled with pessimism, and lose hope. Yet we cannot allow this, even if the sky is black above us.
There are situations we go through, similar to the ones Apostle Paul experienced when the ship was going to capsize on the high seas due to a big storm. Everyone thought they were going to die because the sea and the winds were very intense, but, in the midst of this, the angel of the Lord visited Paul and said to him ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before Caesar; and behold, God has granted you all those who are sailing with you.’ God knows our purpose, and He will not let anything make us capsize. Thus, He shows that He is in control of everything.
Even if it seems strange to you, God chooses the most difficult times to change the course of our life. Paul was on the ship as a prisoner. Had the storm not taken place, they would have reached their destination and Paul would have been handed over to the authorities for his execution. But He had a better plan, which he set into motion in the midst of the storm for his will to be fulfilled. So do not be afraid because, in the midst of that crisis, He has set his perfect plan into motion in order to deliver you and take you down his paths.
