Let us not settle for what we are

Let us not settle for what we are

This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. John 15:8
The life we lead is a reflection of our relationship with God. If our life is disorganized, empty, dry, our spiritual life is in that same condition. On the contrary, if our life is centered on prayer and we depend on it, the result is glorious, for prayer teaches us to be disciples of Christ.
A disciple is one who imitates, and we imitate the Son of God become flesh; that is to say Christ, who accomplished a perfect relationship with his heavenly Father, demonstrating that his life was the result of living in the presence of God. And that made Him remain aligned to Heaven.
God has called us to bear much fruit, but only our relationship with Him can grant such fruit to us, as well as change our condition. Let us not settle for what we are because our life will be improved as a result of a more intimate relationship with Him.
