Our heart is filled with disbelief

Our heart is filled with disbelief

They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them. They have made themselves a molded calf, and worshiped it and sacrificed to it, and said, ‘This is your god, O Israel, that brought you out of the land of Egypt!’ Exodus 32:8
We ask God to show himself, talk, and make himself be felt. And, when He does, we do not believe Him. As many miracles and manifestations of the Kingdom happen, our heart is filled with disbelief, so we think it is impossible.
Our nature is very skeptical. That is why God’s authority has not been shown, more, because of that which is working inside of us. If we all saw in the spirit the power that is shown when we believe Him, the enemy would have no authority over us.
Moses went through a lot with the people of Israel, in spite of all the miracles God made in Egypt: how He brought them out, fed them and protected them. At a moment, they forgot everything and decided to mold a calf to which they were giving all honor for bringing them out of Egypt.
This story is very similar to ours. God heals us and we say it was the doctor, He prospers us and we say it was the result of a good business deal, He changes our marriage and we say it was a lucky strike. At no point do we give Him the glory. So, why do we ask from Him if, once He acts, we forget everything He has done? It is necessary for us to always be grateful, for this will not let us raise other gods that take his glory for what He did, does and will do with us.
