We must make sure that it has really been sown in our heart

As he scattered the seed in the field, some of it fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Matthew 13:4
We must cherish and care for biblical principles, so we do not walk out on the blessing. That is why we must be alert and watch over the place where it falls, the Word we hear; for, if it does not bear fruit, it is because it does not fall on the proper piece of land. The Word of God is a source of spiritual growth; thus, we cannot neglect it. We must make sure it has really been sown in our heart. Otherwise, our life will remain the same.
That is why we see so many people who leave the church; others keep doing the same things, getting carried away by their desires and ambitions. And we ask ourselves, where were they when the Word of God was preached? They were seating, hearing but not listening. Their mind was a whirlwind, which did not allow the Word to penetrate, and in the end we see the results: an unproductive life.
So, let us not delay it any longer and analyze our spiritual life. If there is more of the same in us, with no changes, it is because the seed is not falling on the proper place. Hence, let us make the necessary adjustments for it to fall on the place where it will surely sprout, for we will be the ones to benefit.
