What will our reward be, if we never care about guarding the internal and precious that He gave us?

For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come. 1 Timothy 4:8
Taking care of our body has become an obsession for many. They take care of it more than anything else there is; they give it the priority in their lives and invest time and money, without realizing that there is something greater that needs to be the highest priority.
It is not bad to take care of the body, since it is the temple of the Holy Spirit. What we cannot do is idolize it and place it before seeking the spirit, which is going to give us life and ensure Heaven for us.
But we cannot lose focus because there is an unavoidable reality, since one day we will leave the land of the living and be in his presence for eternity. Then, what about those who did not give it value, who were dragged by vanity? What will our reward be, if we never care about guarding the internal and precious that He gave us for it to dwell in us? Let nothing make us neglect the greatest and eternal.
This is a truth which we must believe. Let us start changing our thoughts, so we exercise the gifts He has given us and there can be spiritual growth supported by a continuous life of prayer and fasting.
