Yearn for the presence of God

David, the man who did according to the heart of God, said: One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. Psalms 27:4
David had experienced something so great which he did not want to lose, and he was determined to seek, because he knew there was nothing better than this. What was it he sought? Which one was that necessity he yearned for more than all the other things of this world?
What he sought was being in the presence of God every day of his life, and never be apart from it, for that which he had lived, and felt, was so great that nothing could compare to it.
Many can be in it, but only a heart like that of David knows how to appreciate the presence of God and seek it desperately, to the point of not asking anything else from God, but only to be in it.
We must be like David; seek it without losing heart, and enjoy the exquisite aroma that will transform us in true worshipers, loving his presence more than anything else.
