Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15
So many people who are close to us need to know Jesus, so their lives change and are transformed. We see the condition in which they live: full of fears, sin-filled, empty, replete with vanity, depressive, angry, discontent and countless things which show that they are not well.
Despite knowing this situation and being aware that we have the bread of life, we do not jump into it and present Jesus Christ the Savior to all those people. That is why it is necessary to think that, if someone had not dared preach to us, we would be in the same condition in which they are.
Just by remembering what we were and what we are now, we must be encouraged not to be indifferent to the needs of others. “Give freely what you have received freely.” That is to say, the same as we have received we must give out of gratitude to God, for what He did by delivering us from slavery and giving us a better life.
Even when people do not express their needs, let us talk to them about Jesus because He has commanded us to preach the Word unto them, and He has let them to be by our side so they know Him and rejoice in the One who changes their lives: Jesus!
