Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe because of the works themselves. John 14:11
We must be aware of what we are and what the Lord expects from us. We may not know it, but it is essential to have this knowledge in order to be able to give the best.
Nothing changes while one does not discover what one is, for he who does not know himself is not aware of what he is capable of doing. We are his children and, as such, He expects us to walk and do what He does. Just as every parent is a model to his child so he knows what to do, our Father teaches us through his Word and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus always did what his Father taught Him. He never disobeyed; on the contrary, He said “The things that I heard, these I say to the world”. Many of us want to imitate famous people or whom we admire, but many of them have no identity. So, we see lots of people not knowing what to do, for having chosen a distorted model.
Everything we acquire that does not come from Him will have no favorable outcome, for He is the only one who knows what we are and is aware of what we have to do. As a consequence, any suit we want to wear will be too small or too big, since only He knows our fit.
