And consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation. 2 Peter 3:15
We lack patience and we want things to get done at the moment when we decide. Yet it is not like that, for God is the only One who knows all things and nothing outside his plan will be activated.
We can pray, groan, weep, cry out, and nothing will make Him change, for his duty is to look after us. Even if we do not understand and think that it is unfair, his love is so great that He will not let anything come close to us, that which can harm us.
Our feelings, wishes and needs blind us. We think that those are the best and go into struggle in order to reach them. Who knows what is right for us, our Creator or us? There is no doubt that He is the One who knows. That is why, if something is delayed or does not come to happen, let us say “Thank you, Dad, for You are watching over me.” Even if the enemy opposes but He decided to give it to us, it does not matter who interferes; He is Sovereign and nothing can stop Him.
Let Him do all things but, when impatience comes, tell it that it will not dominate you, for you are confident that Heaven knows the day and the time of your blessing, that you will wait patiently because He will give you more and better than you asked for.
