If we remain in the Lord, He will be with us

If we remain in the Lord, He will be with us

Remain in me, as I also remain in you. John 15:4
New year, new goals, new dreams, new plans; everything new… Beginnings always stir in us the desire to do things differently. We have great expectations and feel that we can do what we did not do before or that we will have what we were not able to obtain, that we will cast aside everything that brings burdens and worries to us.
Each new year means a new beginning. We believe that everything is going to change, that everything will be different and that our lives will take another path, very different from the past. We are determined to forgive, reconcile, forget, fix things, look for solutions and start from scratch. All this is necessary because then we realize that we must change, that we have the opportunity for improvement and that not all is lost.
The beginning of this year offers a good start for us to determine, decide and believe that, if we remain in the Lord, He will be with us and help us in all of our needs. Yet the difference is not made by the year, but by our communion with Him. Let us grow stronger regarding our intimacy because apart from Him we can do nothing.
