Laugh, jump, and cheer up; for you have what many wish they had

Jerusalem rejoices because of what the Lord has done. She is like a bride dressed for her wedding. God has clothed her with salvation and victory. Isaiah 61:10

God has done so much for us. He has given us salvation, which is the greatest gift we could receive. He delivered us from eternal death, and He gave it to us out of his grace. This must be a reason for us to be happy, but it is a shame to see so many who claim to be saved who walk around with an overwhelmed face, hopeless, because a problem has not been solved. This shows lack of value for our salvation, on our part.

Any situation takes our joy away, which cannot be. That is why psalmist David said: “Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all his benefits.” It is just that we cannot forget what He has done. Many times, this happens because we are used to give more value to the material than the spiritual. That is why we are always discontented. We want what is someone else’s and do not appreciate what He has given us.

We must be grateful and happy because He has given us, not only salvation, but covered us with victory. Therefore, laugh, jump, and cheer up; for you have what many wish they had, but they have lost both eternal life and fullness of victory for refusing to accept Christ as Lord and Savior.
