Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. James 3:10
We are used to speaking without thinking; we leave many hurt and maltreated along the way. We do not realize the damage that we cause to ourselves and others. Thus, we create a bad image of ourselves, which will be impossible to erase. But there is no need to do this, since our testimony is lost. Then, as much as we say that we are Christians, it will be in doubt, for the way of expressing ourselves says just the opposite.
That is why it is necessary to dominate our mouths and speak only those words that come to build and not to destroy, since we have been called to sow life, not death. We should keep in mind that everything that comes out of our mouths will later have repercussions on us.
When we do not realize this, we walk under curse, not blessing, because of all those words that we release, which have been reversed unwittingly, thus bringing destruction, death or disease.
Let us build with the Word of God, eradicating every word of curse and insult, and give testimony that we have indeed been changed to his image and likeness.
