Do not deceive yourselves; no one makes a fool of God. You will reap exactly what you plant. Galatians 6:7
God imposed laws for us to obey and respect them. Not doing so leads us to spiritual death, which separates us from his presence and his cover, leaving us with no spiritual protection.
If we keep on committing sins deliberately, it makes us think that the price He had to pay is worthless. Each sin is a wound on his body, which has to hurt us as it does him. There is no point in justifying what we do, for He gave us the authority so we can come out from sin and not go back to it.
We need to bear the pain of the cross in our heart, so we do not do what is not good before God, as we have done so many times. Let us not deceive ourselves anymore. It is not a matter of time; it is a matter of making a decision: to never do it again. Not making a correct decision greatly affects marriage, children, ministry and our life, for that which we plant now is the very same we will gather from each one of them.
Let us turn away from sin and let his presence always be with us.
