Money destroys us when it does not come from God

Money destroys us when it does not come from God

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. 1 Timothy 6:10
There are many gods inside of us that compete with God. The love of money, which is the root of all kinds of evil, is one of them. Money causes us to lose our principles. It fills us with greed and avarice. We deceive others to make a profit. Others become contract killers, steal or lie. Money is not bad; what is bad is the love of it and how our heart sees it. It becomes insensitive, so money fills our eyes and makes us wander away from faith.
We must be alert to any temptation that may come to lead us astray from the ways of the Lord and dress itself with deceit, in order to make us stumble and lose everything. Money, when it is God who gives it to us, brings blessing into our lives and adds no sorrow, while being able to bless his Kingdom brings us joy.
Money destroys us when it does not come from God, for we believe that we do not need Him, that everything is at our feet and anything we want, that we can obtain. It is all a lie, for that money does not give us peace, neither does it give salvation nor can it buy eternal life, which is a greater treasure than anything a millionaire may have bought, unless he surrenders and gives his heart to Christ.
