If we can encourage others, we should encourage them. If we can give, we should be generous. If we are leaders, we should do our best. If we are good to others, we should do it cheerfully. Romans 12:8
God puts a demand on us, which we must fulfill. We cannot keep on making excuses and doing things the way we please. Everything we do must seek to please Him, but many of us prefer to keep on doing things our way, which is easier and does not demand much.
The Word encourages us to do everything with excellence, diligence, generosity and happiness; for He would do it that way. Let us know that the Holy Spirit is the One who give us the daring and puts in us the grace to do it.
How many times have we needed our heavenly Father to cheer us up, receive us with happiness, and be generous? We have found Him that very same way we have sought Him. Why not do the same with those who are expecting the best from us and leave in their hearts our best service?
