‘The silver is mine and the gold is mine’, declares the LORD Almighty. Haggai 2:8
Most of our lives we live worried, thinking of what to do in order to increase our income or how to get out of debt. Money has enslaved us, up to the point of it being the one that governs us.
It is sad to acknowledge that it handles us at its whim and it reflects on our change of character. We become aggressive, moody, unhappy, unmotivated, pessimistic, which affects our spiritual life, in such a way that we have no desire to pray, praise and be in his presence.
The source of the riches is God, the One who allows us to manage them with wisdom. We should pay no more attention to money, but to the One who produces it, since He is the owner of the riches; so they belong to us, as his children, for we have inheritance, right and privilege.
Do not look at your shortages, but at the One who blesses you every day so you are eternally prospered.
