The will to change is a necessity

Don’t be like the people of this world, but let God change the way you think. Then you will know how to do everything that is good and pleasing to him. Romans 12:2
Changes are necessary because they help us grow and mature, as well as value what is true. But we are so used to what we do that it becomes hard for us to break away from that which affects us. We prefer not to fight, and let others impose their conditions.
The will to change is a necessity that every person must seek and yearn for. Resistance to changes is strong, for it hurts when things we like are taken away, but such things make it impossible for us to grow.
We must be clear that our life belongs to Christ, who lays out in us what must be fulfilled. This makes the process of change and transformation, which we must go through, less painful.
It is not worth the trouble to stay the same, even when we think that valuable things will be lost; yet nothing is valuable when it does come from Him. The more we are changed the more He will be able to use us, for He needs a custom-made vessel to do whatever He wants.
