So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11
The Word of God has such a great power that we cannot afford to remain without knowing it. Therefore, it is necessary for us to set time apart every day to study it. Many times we do not know how to deal with situations that arise because we ignore the power that it has. “It is like a hammer that breaks rocks in pieces”, says the Lord. For this reason, Jesus defeated the enemy with the Word, and demonstrated the knowledge He had of it.
Yet, above all, we cannot read it just as another story, but ask Him to give us revelation for the understanding of it, and that our spiritual eyes be opened, to discover the mysteries that have not yet been revealed and are hidden.
It requires only preparing ourselves and making a habit, so we can read it without interruptions. Let us delight, while we begin to discover the power it has over all things, and how effective it is, when we do it with the conviction that it is the Word of God, to be used for everything we need.
