Proverbs 3:9-10<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Man strives to work in order to have his desires and needs covered, and be able to enjoy what he is capable of achieving through struggle. But he has forgotten about giving the firstfruits to the Lord, which guarantees the inflow of our means of support and the abundance of such.\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>The Word teaches us that we must give the Lord the first portion of everything because this is an honor. We have turned into money lovers and forgotten who He is.<\/p>\n<p>God wants us to strip off all greed, stinginess, reasoning, independence and lack of faith, so we may see him as He is: The Shaddai (The Almighty). We cannot compete with the One who owns all the riches of the world.
