Acts 6:4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If we look carefully at the life of Jesus, we realize that there was something that stood out above all, and it was his prayer life. He did not rest; when He finished a tight day, He went to seek the face of God.<\/p>\n<p>It was something that the Apostles could not understand; how after having such a tough day of healing, delivering and teaching, He had strength to pray. Yet the strange thing was not this, but how long He took. And how could He have so much endurance?, the Disciples could wonder, since they fell asleep while He prayed.<\/p>\n<p>What happens is that Jesus overcame the demand of his body, which asked Him to rest. He broke away from the mentality of wanting to sleep, demonstrating that body and mind are subject to the will of the Holy Spirit. That is to say, it is possible for us to pray and not indulge in that which body and mind are asking for.<\/p>\n<p>Then, there is no excuse that \u00abI am very tired\u00bb, \u00abToday left me exhausted\u00bb. We cannot allow ourselves to be dominated by physical or mental conditions because they always wage war for us not to pray.
