He will make us strong

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:10

It is difficult for us to acknowledge our weaknesses because we think that this makes us diminish and that others will not see us the same way. Then the image that we have projected will fall apart. For this reason, we keep hiding our fears, insecurities and complexes.

Keeping them quiet is a big mistake, for something that is not acknowledged but hidden cannot be solved. On the contrary, it worsens more and it has repercussions in other areas that were not weak, which are affected for keeping silent. Thus, for not facing our weaknesses with courage, we see that we get entangled in a world of lies and deception which becomes hard for us to leave, since we get used to lying to continue covering up.

For this reason, we create a world around us which does not allow God to turn weak things into strong ones. Only when we acknowledge this, will He make us strong, for his Word says “Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’”
