Walking toward a new purpose

Walking toward a new purpose

And the Lord said unto him, Go, return on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus: and when thou comest, anoint Hazael to be king over Syria: And Jehu the son of Nimshi shalt thou anoint to be king over Israel: and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abelmeholah shalt thou anoint to be prophet in thy room. 1 Kings 19:15-16
Sometimes we think that we have given everything, due to our age, the physical condition, the time we lost, the strength is not as it was before, etc. Elijah did the same thing; he thought that his time was over, his ministry had ended. At that moment, God gave him a new purpose. When Elijah started walking toward his new purpose, God granted him a mission: anointing Hazael, Jehu and Elisha.
When you believe that you reached your limit, that your marriage has had enough, that your talent has reached the end, that it is impossible to get out of the situation you are in, that no one takes you into account… At that moment, God removes the barriers for you because He has no beginning and no end. Then, new ways are opened because your Father is the Lord of new and great opportunities.
God does not forget anything; He fulfills his Word. Maybe you do not know what God’s will for your life is. Simply wait for the signal and, at that moment, run, for the blessing is coming to you. Wait, for the best is yet to come.
