When I did not confess my sins, I was worn out from crying all day long. Psalms 32:3
The fear of being reprehended or pointed at by others when we commit sin, it inhibits us from confessing. Thus the consequences derived from silence are devastating. Our spirit keeps on fading to the point where we prefer death instead of going on living, due to the burden which gets heavier and impossible to carry.
That is why it is necessary for us to remain under the wings of the Most High, which will grant us the breath of life when our heart is broken before his presence and we acknowledge that we have failed.
God does not turn away; we do when we let the enemy blindfold our understanding and we sin. Many believe that God has a whip to punish us for our actions, but that is not the case. He is waiting with open arms to restore and lift up the one who repents and confesses his sins.
No matter the magnitude of your sin; it only matters that you acknowledge the only One with a heart full of mercy, who gives us the opportunity to start over, so He makes us understand that such place (sin) is not for us and He gives us the strength to never do it again.
