His grace is free but it only moves through faith

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

If we understood the grace of God, we would not live with so much discontent. We only believe that which we see, though we can yearn for something different, but always within our parameters. Our mind is very narrow and conventional; we understand that our life is simply what our parents experienced and taught us. But we should understand that our knowledge is limited, and we do not know or see what God sees.

It is not easy to believe that there is a different destiny for us, that it is possible for us to live in another condition someday, that our lives will be completely different from that of our ancestors. As much as we study the Word and see the testimonies of that which God is doing in many brethren, our rational mind blocks the grace of God.

The grace of God is an undeserved favor; it is a gift, which has been given to his people. He is calling us to enjoy it, for we need to believe that, in present times, that which did not come to pass before will do so. God will surprise us through it by giving salvation to our family, breaking inherited iniquity and curses, forgiving us for all our sins.

He will lead us down a very different path, and show us that what used to be hard is not so anymore, that what was impossible will be done. Let us put no limits, so we can get to enjoy all these blessings, for his grace is free but it only moves through faith.
