Rivalry is not good

We must not be proud or irritate one another or be jealous of one another. Galatians 5:26

How beautiful it is when brethren join to serve together in the work of the Lord!, with no jealousy or pride, where each one offers their abilities, knowledge, gifts, in order to achieve the best results in that which they are doing.

Rivalry is not good because it forces us to do things with the purpose of crushing others and get all the recognition, all alone, for the work done. Thus, we set aside the teachings from the Master. Christ was an example of teamwork and a demonstration that united we stand.

From the beginning, He had 12 disciples accompany Him. He taught them everything and then sent them all over the world, so they would demonstrate what He had taught and imparted to them, with no fear of being displaced. When we learn to work for the Lord, we know that the crown is not ours but His. That is why we cannot compete; for in the end all glory will only be to Him.
