Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy. 1 Timothy 6:17
Many ask for riches, but it is for their own satisfaction, not thinking for a single moment about the needs of others. Their only wish is to accumulate riches for themselves. Anyone who looks at any of these people think they are fulfilled because they are full of gold, banknotes, possessions, but it is not so. On the contrary, they are tormented and distressed thinking that someone will steal from them, up to the point of mistrusting even their own children and spouses.
It is a shame to see such cases, for those people have no life, they do not know how to enjoy themselves, they live all locked up and it is all a lie, the fact that they seem to have everything. They are under a deep sorrow for not having anybody to trust. The worst part is that they have set their heart on those riches and have gone off the right path given by the Lord, who teaches us not to love riches but the One who provides them. He also guards us as to avoid ostentation, but in humility, acknowledging that everything comes from Heaven, out of his grace and his favor.
May our heart never go astray, for true wealth takes root in knowing Him and understanding Him in all his glory.
