Your heart is what counts

A joyful heart makes a cheerful face, But when the heart is sad, the spirit is broken. Proverbs 15:13

So much we do worry about keeping a pretty and radiant beauty! We stop eating to save our figure, do exercises to keep fit, and we spend lots of money on clothes and spare no resources to spend if it is for this.

Taking care of ourselves is not bad; neither is it to dress well, but it depends on the intention for doing so. That is why we must analyze and keep ourselves from falling into this abyss; for we easily fall. As children of God we know that our beauty is not outer but inner. It is our heart, special because the Creator is shown in us through it.

We do nothing with a closet full of clothes and shoes, but having lack of forgiveness and resentment. No matter the outfit we wear; if we are not clean on the inside, we cannot show off the outfit we have on.

Let us spend time cleaning our heart by sinking into the spa of the Spirit, which will make us look like kings and queens with no need for spending money. Your heart is what counts, not your body. If you seek Him, He will show you how to embellish it.
