If our words are causing damage, our heart must be healed

Stop all your dirty talk. Say the right thing at the right time and help others by what you say. Ephesians 4:29

How edifying it does turn out to be when we surround ourselves with people who cause us to grow spiritually when they talk, for their words flow from a heart full of love, willing to do good, where every word turns into a melody which resounds inside of us, leaving an indelible impression in us.

That is why we should guard our heart, for whatever is in it will talk. If we do not guard it, our words will cause damage and wounds, and leave marks forever. Many homes are a reflection of such a situation, where spouses and children suffer constantly because of words that come from a heart full of rancor, bitterness, resentment, rejection, which promote family and marriage destruction.

Let us not shut our eyes but acknowledge that, if our words are causing damage, our heart should be healed, by submerging it into the presence of the Most High in order to hear the voice of God. It will teach us to talk. The change will be amazing and He will erase the words we used as a habit, replacing them with his words, which are full of life, for edification.
