We must honor God

… about the day you stood in the presence of the Lord your God at Mount Sinai, when he said to me, ‘Assemble the people. I want them to hear what I have to say, so that they will learn to obey me as long as they live and so that they will teach their children to do the same.’ Deuteronomy 4:10
The world has influenced mankind in a powerful way; thus values, respect and morals have been lost. It is hard to meet someone who speaks of honor. Children do not know what it means to honor father and mother. On the contrary, the child considers himself to be equal to his parents and bearing the same rights.
It is sad to see the behavior of so many who claim to be Christians but do not know the meaning of honor. It is impossible for someone to honor you if you have not learned to honor first. We must first honor God for others to honor us.
It is necessary for us to teach our children to honor us and, in that same way, they will learn to honor God. Let us not allow the teachings of the world to continue harming us and distorting the original design for which we were born.
We need to rescue what has been lost and return to the teachings of our heavenly Father, so we can have an abundant life, a healthy family, a changed society, a different country and a transformed world.
