There is a dormant power that has to awaken

There is a dormant power that has to awaken

… and came to the vineyards of Timnah. Now to his surprise, a young lion came roaring against him. And the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him, and he tore the lion apart as one would have torn apart a young goat, though he had nothing in his hand. Judges 14:5-6
God is not distant from our problems, although He does not intervene immediately to rescue us. Then, is God bad for not helping us instantly? No. He is good; it is only that He is letting that process make us mature and help us acknowledge the potential that is dormant.
He knows what we can endure and withstand, which is necessary for our training. Then, if there is no crisis, we will not know what we are capable of. Then, we will always be depending on those who do know what they can do, who fear nothing; for they found out during a crisis that they had a dormant potency. This necessity prompted them to make use of it.
As it took Samson, who one day was on his way to Timnah and out came a lion roaring in the vineyards. He tore it apart, as it is done with a young goat. Samson needed this experience to know the power that was in him.
Let us not be afraid if we hear the roar of the lions and the Lord does not come to our rescue, for it is so we understand that, inside of us, there is a dormant power that has to awaken.
